Version 2.7: Under some conditions, Gestalt.Appl could freeze when launched (displaying an empty window). Bug corrected. After modification, the color of the windows was sometimes incorrectly updated. Bug corrected. The ﾔsysuﾕ selector is now displayed correctly. New feature: a config can be exported as a SimpleText file or under a text format readable by a database (see doc).
Version 2.6.6: Because of a CodeWarrior bug, Gestalt.Appl had a coprocessor error when displaying some selectors on a 68000 machine. Corrected. Interpretation of ﾔascvﾕ selector has changed.
Version 2.6.5: The ﾔpclkﾕ and ﾔbclkﾕ selectors are now in the main list. The pseudo-selector ﾔFrq2ﾕ displays the value returned by ﾔpclkﾕ if present. This solves the problem encountered with ﾔFrq2ﾕ selector on PowerMac 7200 or 7500.
Version 2.6.4: This version is able to open any older virtual configuration saved in any format, provided no modification had been made in it by hand. All code related to ADSP remote machines was removed (20 KB in fat version). Empty selection in the main list is no longer possible.
Version 2.6.3: Because remote machines are no longer (or not yet) supported, the ﾒRemote machineﾉﾓ command in the File menu is always dimmed.
Version 2.6.2: Recompiled with CodeWarrior 7 (better optimization for PowerPC 603 and 604 processors).
Version 2.6.1: ﾔversﾕ id=1 resource from Gestalt.Appl application is now saved within virtual configuration files. This allows to manage future format changes and enforces downward compatibility.
Version 2.6: First version compiled with CodeWarrior 6. No new feature, some minor bugs corrected. Warning: because of the adoption of new alignment specifications for PowerPC optimization, virtual configurations saved with older versions are not correctly reopened.
Version 2.5b8: First Power Macintosh optimized version. ﾔFreqﾕ pseudo-selector has been replaced by ﾔFrq2ﾕ to calculate with more accuracy processor frequency and to allow upgrades when a new processor is used without code modification (only resources modification).
Version 2.1.7: Came out with the book Les Ressources du Macintosh, published by Eyrolles (France). In part 1 of the book, there is an explanation of the way Gestalt.Appl resources work in this version.
